Eating Disorder Awareness Week is almost over! What have you done for the cause?
It doesn't have to be something BIG.
If you wear an awareness ribbon, bracelet, or shirt, you are supporting the cause. By facilitating discussion over these items, you are spreading the word.
By telling your story, sharing your desire to help, or providing resources to those in need you are doing a great service.
If you are simply reading and re-posting important recovery related info, you are doing a great job of keeping the heart of ED Awareness Week beating strong!
Don't stop now. There are still 3 days left.
The sweet author of Butterflyshapes just did a post on me and I'm ever grateful and very honored. You can check out her blog and the piece here: Wednesday Warrior.
Keep using your voices, everyone!

YOU ARE AWESOME and I ADORE YOU!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, I just want to tell you that my voice in NEDA week is creating my own blog for polish folks struggling with an ED. It has an english introduction as well. :)
ReplyDeleteI follow you on yt, you're so inspiring!
You're so inspirational! I would just like to thank you for all the awareness that you have (and continue to) raise. I'm currently in recovery from anorexia and it's so inspiring to have such a beautiful role model like yourself :) x
ReplyDeleteThank you, all. I appreciate all the kind words and am so glad to know it is helping.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to tell you that I just found your blog a few days ago, and I love it.
ReplyDeleteI am in recovery, and have been for about six months, and your blog is exactly what someone in my position needs. I want to thank you for your time in doing this, because there can never be enough resources for those of us struggling with ED.
I also wanted to ask, where do you find those awareness bracelets? I am having trouble finding them.
Thanks!
Chelsea - thanks so much. So glad your are finding the site helpful. You can find the bracelets here: http://www.anad.org/get-involved/e-d-awareness-week/
ReplyDeleteIf the link isn't clickable, just paste it in your browser. You have to then scroll down on that ANAD page to where it says BOGO (Buy one, get one) and it explains the various ways you can purchase bracelets/donate to ANAD.
Hope that helps!
Arielle
